The Standalone Format: |

Is designed for users without Microsoft Excel and for those with older PCs with slower processors and smaller amounts of memory as it runs faster than the Excel version. |

Produces much smaller .GIF archive files (up to 100KB), including the symbol graphics, that can be easily read on any Internet browser by your clients if you are doing phone readings. So, archiving will use up smaller amounts of disk space compared to the Excel version. |

Handles the copying of name data from archived files back into the main overlay analysis sheet differently to the Excel version. |

The Excel Format: |

Is designed for Microsoft Excel users with more up to date PCs with enough processor power and memory to manage the symbol graphics incorporated within the program. So, on older PCs it will run a little slower than the standalone version. |

Produces larger .XLS archive files (up to 580KB) due to the way Excel handles the graphics. So, if you are emailing these to clients for phone readings they will need to have Excel in order to read the archive file charts. So, archiving will use up larger amounts of disk space compared to the Standalone version. |

For copying name data from archive files it is simply a matter of copying and pasting the data back into the overlay sheet. |
