What are the differences between the Excel & Standalone Formats?

Installation Procedure

For the Excel version installation, on more recent versions of Excel which have selectable levels of macro security, ensure you have the macro security level set to “Medium” by clicking on “Tools”, “Macros”, “Security”, select the “Medium” radio button and click “OK” before you run the software. Each time you open up the Soul Contract Reading Analysis software you will need to select “Enable Macros” and click on “OK” when prompted by the software.

For Windows Vista users only:

This software was originally designed for Windows 95 through to XP operating systems. In order to get it to work on Vista you need to undertake some additional procedures as follows:

1 Goto : Control Panel

2 Select "User Accounts and Family Safety"

3 Select "User Accounts"

4 Click on "Turn User Account Control on or off"

5 Deselect "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer"

6 Follow the remaining instructions below.

For Windows 95 through to Vista users

1	Find the location of the downloaded file and unzip it by double clicking on it.

2	Click on “Run”. This will start a self extracting application for unpacking all the compressed individual files that comprise the software.

3	Click on the “Browse” button and select or create a new folder for placing these files into.

4	Click on “Start”. This will commence the file decompression process.

5	Once this is complete, go to the folder where you unpacked the individual files into and double click on the “Setup” file. Please note, do not click on “Setup.Lst”. This will commence the installation of the software.

6	Follow the screen instructions to complete installation.

For Windows Vista users only:

1 The software does not automatically setup the desktop icons. You will have to do this manually as follows:

2 Place your mouse pointer on an empty part of your desktop

3. Right click on the mouse

4 Select “New”, “Shortcut” and “Browse” to find the location of:

"C:\Program Files\Soul Contract Reading Analysis (Excel)\soulcfca.exe"

for the Excel Version or

"C:\Program Files\Soul Contract Reading Analysis\soulcfca.exe"

for the Standalone version

5 Click on “Next”

6. Type in “Soul Contract Reading Analysis (Excel)” or “Soul Contract Reading Analysis”

7. Click on “Finish”

For Windows 95 through to Vista users

Click on the icon for the software on the desktop to run it.
